They even made it further special through surprise pastries on occasion of our anniversary. I would definitely recommend this place anyone looking for a relaxing afternoon tea.
We had breakfast at Lanes of London every day during our stay at the London Marriott Hotel Park Lane. The food was consistently good — my husband ordered the avocado toast most mornings and tried the scrambled eggs on our last day, which he really liked. I had the avocado toast, porridge, and on our final morning, the pancakes, which were nicely done. We also had lunch there once and enjoyed both the fish and chips and the pan-seared salmon — both dishes were fresh and well-prepared. If you're dining here for the first time, those are safe and satisfying choices. The restaurant has a calm atmosphere and the service was genuinely warm. The staff checked in just enough without being overbearing, and they made us feel looked after. A special mention to Vivian, who has been with Lanes for years — he remembered my name and was always polite and professional. All in all, it’s a pleasant place to have a meal — solid food, good service, and a relaxed environment. 5/5 from us.
Just passing through in route to a cruise. We got hungry as we were headed to Marble Arch & decided to eat breakfast. I’m glad we did ! The food, service & atmosphere was amazing !! Vivian did an outstanding job taking care of us !!! The whole facility is beautiful !
We celebrated my friend's 50th birthday and my career promotion today at Lanes of London. Afternoon tea is really yummy and good value for the price. Service is top notch. Thanks to Vivian and the other female staff who looked after us . The teas are amazing especially the rosebud tea .

All staff were such a delight, so welcoming. Unfortunately I cannot remember their names but the 2 waitresses that were serving us that day were just so kind and nice to be around. The food was perfect, our little 3 month old even got a good nap whilst we ate. Will definitely be coming again.
For myself and my best friend a long overdue catch up to remember. Warm, welcoming service, delicious, beautifully presented food and drink and stylish but comfortable surroundings. There was no rush to leave, our water glass was topped up regularly and more tea was offered. Thank you to the team, especially Martha who looked after us so well all afternoon.
I went here for an afternoon tea for my Birthday and we felt just really special and celebrated here! The Service was outstanding, super friendly, accommodating and very attentive! The afternoon tea itself was fantastic! The selection of teas was excellent and all the little cakes were so special and made with so much love to detail, it was just really overall a fabulous experience!
